NB! This is our first information about Golf in Human Climate. Our plan is to give you a new text each month until we can welcome you for golf in Scandinavia which is 1st of April until 30 of September 2025.
As all Golf courses have a maximum of players, the local members have the first priority to play in their own course.
The weekends are the most popular days for them to play. For this reason the guests have to play during the general Scandinavian work days, Monday to Friday.
We will try to give you possibilities to play on the Golf Courses and the days you choose to book and pay for.
You will get a form to fill and send to Moving Brands Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. You will get this later this year, before the 1st of January 2025. Instructions about this will follow each month.

Hi again Golfer!
When you decide to spend your holiday vacation in the Nordic countries, you will have access to more than 900 courses to choose from. Upon arrival at Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Helsinki, the main gateways to each country, you should take a few days to acclimate to the humid climate and the relaxed Nordic way of life. Spend some time exploring the city you have arrived in. We work closely with Strömma Kanal in Sweden, offering a variety of adventures and tours at all the gateway cities. In Stockholm, for example, you could take a boat trip around the archipelago, enjoy a nice meal, or spend a day in the old town, learning about the history, old kings, and the architecture of the Swedish capital city. Additionally, there are several top golf courses around the city if you're keen on some golfing action.
After a few relaxing days, you can take an hour's flight to Kiruna, in the Swedish part of Lapland. The main attractions are the large iron mine, which is possible to visit, and the Ice Hotel, built with ice from the Torne River. Skilled ice artists and builders have meticulously shaped and stacked these ice blocks to create the hotel's walls, ceilings, and furniture. Each room is a unique work of art, designed by different artists every year. The Ice Hotel is a seasonal attraction, typically open from December to April. During the summer, a few rooms are still available, and it's also possible to see the best ice artwork from the winter.
The area doesn't offer the extensive golf scene of other regions. Still, it does have some unique opportunities for golfers, especially during the summer months when the midnight sun allows for round-the-clock play. One of Swedish Lapland's most notable golf courses is the Björkliden Golf Course and mountain hotel, located 250 km north of the Arctic Circle. Besides golfing, hiking in the Arctic mountains and fishing are popular activities. From Björkliden/Kiruna, it's easy to travel to Narvik in Norway and Skjomen's golf course and further to the famous Lofoten Links, the 18-hole championship course. Lofoten is a fantastic place to experience golf, and the golf course is particularly renowned for its stunning coastal setting and the opportunity to play golf under the midnight sun.
Both courses in this part of Norway are spectacular and offer unforgettable memories, combining nature's beauty with the sport's thrill. Narvik itself provides a plethora of exciting activities during the summer, thanks to the unique blend of stunning landscapes and rich history. Some top things to do are hiking, trekking, and exploring the breathtaking fjords, mountains, and valleys. The Narvikfjell area offers trails for all levels, from easy walks to challenging hikes. Kayaking and canoeing are also popular activities, allowing you to paddle through the serene fjords and explore hidden coves. Narvik is also a historical place, and if possible, you should visit the war museum and learn about the pivotal role Narvik played in World War II. At the Polar Park, you can encounter Arctic wildlife, including bears, wolves, and reindeer.
You can play golf 24 hours a day during the summer, thanks to the continuous daylight. Breathtaking landscapes, including mountains, forests, and lakes, often surround golf courses in this area. Playing golf above the Arctic Circle is a truly unique and unforgettable experience. While this region of the Nordic countries offers an exceptional golfing experience, the season is shorter than other regions. Be sure to check the golf course opening and closing dates before planning your trip.
The Nordic countries are worth visiting, not only for playing golf. There are plenty of other things and places to experience. All the capital cities have a unique charm and should be visited if time allows. But one or two is a good start. Being a golfer, the real experience would be to play golf during the midnight sun in a humid climate, clean air, and at the top of Europe's wild and breathtaking scenery. You need 7-10 days to stay in the Nordics to cover a full program, including a 2-day stay in Stockholm, Copenhagen, or Oslo upon arrival. There is also an opportunity to play golf in northern Finland close to Rovaniemi, the Santa Claus Golf - Ounasvaara Golf Park. If this is on your wish list, then you can start the Nordic tour by arriving in Helsinki.
